The M_o_R® Practitioner certification confirms that you have a sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor M_o_R in a scenario situation.
M_o_R is a route map for risk management, bringing together principles, an approach, a set of interrelated processes, and pointers to more detailed sources of advice on risk management techniques and specialisms.
It also provides advice on how the principles, approach, and processes should be embedded, reviewed, and applied depending on the nature of the objectives at risk. An effective framework based on the following core concepts:
- M_o_R Principles – these are essential for the development of good risk management practice. They are all derived from corporate governance principles in the recognition that risk management is a subset of an organization’s internal controls.
- M_o_R Approach – the principles need to be adapted and adopted to suit each individual organization. Accordingly, a company’s approach to the principles needs to be agreed upon and defined within a risk management policy, process guide, and strategies and supported by the use of risk registers and issue logs.
- M_o_R Processes – there are four main process steps, which describe the inputs, outputs, and activities involved in ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and controlled. Embedding and reviewing M_o_R – having put in place the principles, approach, and processes – an organization needs to ensure they are consistently applied and that their application undergoes continual improvement in order for them to be effective.
The eLearning option is self-paced study giving you the opportunity to progress through the material at a pace and time that is most convenient for you. The course material is presented by an accredited instructor in a series of videos and/or voice-over PowerPoint presentations that cover the accredited course material. All of the information you need is included in the eLearning package.

Exam Vouchers are for PeopleCert take-anywhere online exams. When you are ready, you use your computer to redeem the voucher on the PeopleCert website (peoplecert.org) to schedule and take your online exam. Instructions for registering on the PeopleCert site and using vouchers for online proctored exams are provided in the email with the voucher code. PeopleCert online exams are live proctored using your webcam. After you have registered and redeemed the voucher, you will need to make an appointment with PeopleCert to take the exam.
IMPORTANT: This exam voucher is for an online exam, not for sitting the exam at a local test center.
The Take2 Re-sit option
The Take2 re-sit option provides peace of mind heading into your exam session and is now available as an add-on for exams and eLearning bundles. In the event that your first attempt is unsuccessful, you will receive a Take2 Re-sit Option exam voucher from PeopleCert for your online proctored, take anywhere retake exam. When buying the Take2 option through PassionIT Group, Take2 MUST be purchased at the same time as the exam voucher. With the Take2 re-sit option, you are buying:
- Peace of mind – gives you the chance to retake a demanding exam.
- Plenty of time to prepare – gives you up to 6 months from the date of the initial exam, to ensure that you have all the time you need to get ready.
- Convenience – lets you schedule the re-sit exam online when it best suits you and you take the exam online from the comfort of your home or office.
Please note, the Take2 re-sit option is not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit, even if it is not used.
